“[Figures 16-5 and 16-6 ] describe a way to walk by tilting the device. The idea was to be as native to the
iPhone's capabilities as possible. During prototyping, we abandoned this because it was disruptive to play in a
way we couldn't design around to our satisfaction. Instead we developed the 'touch to walk' control, which was
more playable and equally native. (Two of four slides from the document are featured in Figures 16-5 and 16-6 . )
