In this prototype, this display offers a significantly low resolution. But technical devel-
opments create the possibility of anticipating a better volumetric vision with this device
(Figure 11.21).
This type of restitution by volumetric images is designed for special applications
(military, air control, medicine, etc.). They do not have the same objectives as the
standard display devices, as their use is beneficial only if the observer moves around
the volumetric images. In practice, this implies that the person should be standing to
be able to make the most of the system's features.
